How to transfer videos from PC to PSP?
Author: Tadas
It is really easy to put any video from your personal computer to PlayStation Portable. Just follow my instructions, it’s only several simple steps, where you will only need to create some directories and copy-paste your videos.
First step is to plug your PSP to your PC or laptop. Now you need to create a couple of directories on memory stick - you will put your videos here. The first folder must be named PSP and placed at the root of your PSP memory stick. Then enter your just created folder, and make another directory, named MP_ROOT. Once again, enter MP_ROOT and create the last folder, named 100mnv01. So it should be like \PSP\MP_ROOT\100mnv01\ - and this is the full directory, which you are going to tranfer your videos at.
The last thing you should know is, that PlayStation Portable accept only videos, encoded in MP4 format, that means if they are in divx, xvid, mov, flash video or any other format - they are not going to play, so you must convert your videos to MP4. If you are not sure how to do that, I can recommend you the tool I use myself to convert videos to PSP supported format.
